Level: Advanced, for experienced project managers

This is a very interactive session, where you will learn some practical solutions to increase the efficiency of distributed international teams. After an initial presentation, you will reflect in teams on the key factors for the success of global projects, and share this knowledge with the other participants. In the end we will have defined our own model of best practices.
Part I - Presentation on how the Global Project Management Framework can increase the efficiency of international projects, focused on 4-5 key success factors.
Part II - Interactive case study: The participants will form small groups and have 30 minutes to work on success factors from the Global Project Management Framework. Each group will receive a one-page description of 2 different success factors (randomly assigned) and must prepare their recommendations to other project managers. Afterwards, some groups will make a brief presentation to the audience on their recommendations, while the other participants will reflect on the key learning for their real-life projects.
